Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is one of the most research-backed treatments for trauma we have available to us. It enables us to heal from disturbing and distressing life events through targeting the brain's information processing system using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, audio, physical touch, etc.) to help the brain reprocess the memories in healthier ways.
